At Rodda Electric Inc, we are dedicated to safety, and we take thorough measures to make sure every individual on our job sites is always protected. We understand the severity of construction and electrical work and the potential hazards that come with working on commercial and industrial projects which is why we have a proactive attitude toward the safety measures we implement within our company.

Creating a Culture of Safety

We work hard to create a higher safety standard by preparing our field team before they even step onto a job site. Every member of our field team is trained through OSHA, CPR, First Aid, Fall Protection, Electrical Hazard Protection, and other safety training that provides them with the awareness and knowledge to safely accomplish their work.

Planning

Our safety measures begin with planning. From the moment a project is awarded, we develop safe methods of procedure, so all parties feel comfortable working on-site. Extensive planning allows us to remain diligent about potential job risks and prevent them before construction begins.

Discussing or Collaborating

Safety measures do not work if all individuals working on a job site are not clear on the steps that need to be taken to prevent accidents. We never implement safety measures without review and approval from general contractors and subcontractors who may encounter the same risks.

Implementing

While working on a project, we closely monitor the well-being of our team and the state of our workers to keep track of any changed risks. We begin each day with safety meetings and tool checks. We end each day with a team of healthy electricians who can enjoy the progress and the process of their work.

Fulfilling

The number one metric we use to gauge the success of our work is by noting that there were no recorded incidents by the completion of a project. When working with clients, we are not only responsible for fulfilling their project requirements, but we are also responsible for ensuring safety while working on their build.

COMMITTING TO SAFETY SINCE 1998

Our commitment to safety is supported through many years as a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. organization’s NorCal chapter and a participant in their STEP Program. STEP focuses on the safety of contractors in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) industries, and our company is proud to hold a Platinum Level Certification. Overall, we understand that safety is a collective effort and remains consistent with the continued support of our leadership, safety, and field teams. It takes all of us to embrace this mentality, so everyone can make it home safely every day.
